Accessibility Statement

Last updated: 1 September 2026

JMS Physiotherapy is committed to making its website and services accessible to as many people as reasonably possible, including people with disabilities, impairments and different access needs.

We aim to provide a clear, straightforward website that can be used with a range of devices and assistive technologies.

Our accessibility target

We are working towards meeting the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 at Level AA.

The website has not yet undergone a full independent accessibility audit, so we do not currently claim complete WCAG 2.2 AA conformance.

What we are doing

We aim to:

Use clear headings and a logical page structure
Use readable text with sufficient colour contrast
Make links and buttons clear and descriptive
Allow website navigation using a keyboard
Add meaningful alternative text to informative images
Label form fields clearly
Make pages usable when text is enlarged or the screen is zoomed
Avoid unnecessary flashing or distracting content
Use plain language wherever possible
Review accessibility when content or functionality is added

Known limitations

We are continuing to review and improve the website. Current or potential limitations include:

Some images may not yet have sufficiently descriptive alternative text
Some heading levels or interactive controls may not be fully optimised for screen-reader users
Certain platform features, including the online booking interface, may not work equally well with every browser or assistive technology
Content supplied or hosted by third parties may be outside our direct control

We will address confirmed issues wherever it is reasonably possible to do so.

Getting information in another format

If you cannot access information on this website, contact us and tell us:

Which page or information you need
The problem you experienced
The format or communication method that would work better for you

Where reasonably possible, we can provide information by email, telephone or in another accessible format.

Clinic access

Free patient parking is available outside London Road Clinic. Level access is provided from the parking area to the treatment rooms for people with mobility requirements.

Please contact us before your appointment if you require a reasonable adjustment or would like to discuss your access needs.

Reporting an accessibility problem

If you experience difficulty using the website or believe we are not meeting accessibility requirements, please contact:

Email: jessy@jmsphysio.co.uk
Telephone: 07500 959679

We will review the issue and aim to provide a suitable alternative or make a reasonable improvement where possible.
