Terms of Service
Last updated: 1 September 2026
These terms explain the conditions that apply when you use the JMS Physiotherapy website or book services with us.
Please read them before arranging an appointment.
1. About JMS Physiotherapy
JMS Physiotherapy provides private physiotherapy, rehabilitation and women’s health services from:
London Road Clinic
56 London Road
Milborne Port
DT9 5DW
Email: jessy@jmsphysio.co.uk
Telephone: 07500 959679
2. Medical emergencies
JMS Physiotherapy does not provide an emergency medical service.
If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 999 or seek urgent medical assistance. For urgent medical advice that is not an emergency, contact NHS 111 or another appropriate healthcare provider.
Website enquiries are not monitored continuously and should not be used for urgent medical concerns.
3. Website information
The information on this website is provided for general information only. It is not intended to replace an individual medical assessment, diagnosis or treatment plan.
You should not rely on website content to diagnose or treat a health condition. Treatment recommendations can only be made following an appropriate clinical assessment.
We take reasonable care to keep website information accurate, but medical knowledge, services, availability and prices may change.
4. Booking an appointment
Appointments may be requested through our website, by email or by telephone.
Submitting a booking request does not guarantee an appointment. Your appointment is confirmed when you receive confirmation from JMS Physiotherapy.
You must provide information that is accurate and complete. If you are booking for another person, you must have their authority to do so.
Please contact us before booking for a child or young person so that any consent, supervision and treatment requirements can be discussed.
5. Prices and payment
The price and duration of each service will be displayed or explained before your appointment is confirmed.
Payment must be made using the payment method and within the timeframe specified during booking or at the clinic. Where payment is processed through a third-party provider, that provider may apply its own terms and privacy policy.
Prices may change, but a change will not affect an appointment already confirmed at an agreed price unless you agree otherwise.
6. Cancellations, rescheduling and missed appointments
If you need to cancel or rearrange an appointment, please contact us as early as possible.
Any notice period or charge for a late cancellation, missed appointment or late arrival will be explained before booking or included in your appointment confirmation. A charge will only be applied in accordance with the cancellation policy made available to you.
If you arrive late, the appointment may need to be shortened so that other patients are not affected.
JMS Physiotherapy may need to rearrange an appointment because of illness, staff availability or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Where this happens, we will offer an alternative appointment or refund any payment made for the affected appointment.
7. Assessment, treatment and consent
Treatment recommendations are based on the information available at the time of assessment and the physiotherapist’s professional judgement.
Before treatment, the physiotherapist will explain the proposed approach, expected benefits and any material risks or alternatives. You may ask questions, decline a particular treatment or withdraw consent at any time.
No treatment can guarantee a particular result. Recovery can be affected by the nature of the condition, general health, lifestyle, attendance and whether recommended rehabilitation advice is followed.
If we believe that physiotherapy is not appropriate, we may recommend that you speak to your GP, another healthcare professional or an emergency service.
8. Your responsibilities
You agree to:
Provide accurate information about your symptoms, medical history, medication and relevant health conditions
Tell us if your condition changes
Follow reasonable safety instructions
Ask questions if anything about your assessment or treatment is unclear
Treat staff, practitioners and other patients respectfully
Pay agreed fees when due
JMS Physiotherapy is not responsible for harm caused by information you deliberately withhold or by your failure to follow clearly explained clinical or safety advice.
9. Confidentiality
Information discussed during treatment and contained in clinical records will be treated confidentially.
We may share relevant information with another healthcare professional where this is necessary for your care and there is an appropriate lawful basis.
Information may also be disclosed without consent where required by law or where there is a serious safeguarding concern or risk of significant harm.
Further information is available in our Privacy Policy.
10. Insurance-funded treatment
If you intend to claim through private medical insurance, you are responsible for confirming that your treatment is covered and for complying with your insurer’s requirements.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, you remain responsible for fees that an insurer refuses or fails to pay.
11. Intellectual property
The text, branding, graphics, downloads and other material on this website belong to JMS Physiotherapy or are used with permission.

We are not responsible for the availability, content or separate terms of third-party websites and services.
14. Website availability
We aim to keep the website available and working correctly but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.
We may suspend, change or remove website content or functionality for maintenance, security or operational reasons.
15. Our responsibility to you
JMS Physiotherapy will provide services with reasonable care and skill.

We are not responsible for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control or by inaccurate information supplied to us.

18. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, although you may retain the right to bring proceedings in another part of the UK where consumer law allows.
